After days of rain that affected survey work at the Phu Cuong Wind Power Project, the weather has started to improve. This opens the way to reschedule field activities, based on assessments of sea conditions and the safety of each work shift.
With four drilling rigs deployed on the project, work can be carried out in parallel, making the most of favourable windows and limiting the impact on the overall schedule.
Less rain is a positive sign, but returning to the field still depends on wind, waves and actual conditions at each survey location. Weather monitoring, equipment checks and safety plan reviews continue to guide when to mobilize personnel and resume work.
Having prepared in advance, PSC aims to restore the pace of survey work as soon as conditions allow. The team’s proactive approach shows in its ready resources, coordinated planning and strict safety discipline on every shift at sea.
According to forecasts for the coming days and the same period in previous years, the rain should stop and the sea calm down by 5 October. PSC is ready to deploy in full force.
