PSC was founded in 1981 with its first mission: engineering surveys for the design and construction of Tri An, the first and largest hydropower plant built in southern Vietnam after 1975.
After 1975, developing new power sources for reconstruction and industrialization became an urgent task.
In 1981, we were founded with a team of experienced staff and engineers transferred from Song Da Survey Company, entrusted with our first mission: carrying out engineering surveys and providing data for the design and construction of the first and largest hydropower plant in southern Vietnam after 1975.
We completed this mission with distinction despite scarce resources and extremely difficult working conditions.
Tri An – the first hydropower plant in southern Vietnam after 1975
Tri An Hydropower Plant is a strategic project in Vietnam’s development and industrialization. An image of the plant was chosen for the back of the Vietnamese 5,000-dong banknote, first issued on 15 January 1993.
More than four decades later… PSC is still working with Tri An
PSC remains the plant’s long-term technical partner through the Tri An expansion project, as well as monitoring, surveying and maintenance work.
